I agree; she is nice and can be shy at times, but her outfit contradicts her. I don't really ship NaLu because their interaction to me seems more on the terms of companions, friends and teammates rather than a couple's. But just my opinion o.o

I think that image is the first where Mashima had Lisanna wear shorts that short. She always wears something decent in the manga/anime

I think Mashima now has to make the transition from friends to lover believable. It sometimes happens but doesn't always work out :'D
They are already close so now the romance part is missing.

But being a manga about relationships and bonds, it is directed at a male audience so their view of that from what I gather of other shounen manga (i.e. Naruto, One Piece,etc.) are about the comraderie between characters and their quality to stick together during good times and bad. This may leave little room for romance, although there are hints here and there, just inconclusive ones that are sort of there but you can't definitely say they'll end up together.

It's not all bad though, like you said; a progression of the romance is better and more believable. Plus it leaves room for the fans to fill in the gaps through fandom and fanfiction

There are a lot of romance hints when its not fron Natsu and Lucy, there are some other ships that are clearly romantic xD IT is hinted to go tht way, but I guess they could remain friends or one could just die.It wouldn't be so bad, otherwise I don't see a way for them not to end up together.

Hmmm romantic hints between characters; depends on how you see the subtle hints though. For example in my view, Natsu and Lucy aren't as obvious as for example, Gray and Juvia (mostly on Juvia's S class stalking part). Natsu and Lisanna are because of the childhood thing that occurred in previous chapters and episodes. Even Gajeel and Levy have their obvious moments (on Levy's part).

It may be just me but I don't see a lot of romantic involvement with the two main characters as I do with other pairings. That one leans more towards friendship than anything else o.o

And LOL! You've been reading fanfiction I admit some of the stories out there involve hate fics for certain characters and mushy endings for the respective authors' favourite couples; hate such fics X.x
