Well crack pairing fans (not all of them ofc) always behave in such a manner. This applies to ppl who ship canon pairings also but they are always overshadowed by the former.

Well we don't have the same time zone so I wasn't there most of the time ^^ (even though I'm connected it sometimes stay like that even when I'm in classes or sleeping because the computer is always being used).

監督：そもそも今回の劇場版企画のスタートは、原作の真島先生が描かれたナ
ツとルーシィの絵だったんです。ですから絵コンテも、ラストシーンにこの絵
がくるように積み重ねていきました。僕はこの絵の、“泣いてるルーシィを受
け止めるナツ”を表現する為に、ストーリーの冒頭から一貫して“ルーシィを
気にするナツ”“ルーシィを見守るナツ”という表現を入れています。

物語の最後で、ナツはルーシィの為に、あえて、ルーシィの願いを聞かないと
いう選択をします。その結果、ナツも自身も重い荷物を背負うことになります
けど、それが分かった上で、ルーシィを守る為にそういう選択をする。それは
ナツに、仲間意識や友情よりも少し踏み込んだルーシィへの気持ちがあるから
なんじゃないかと思ったんですね。

ナツがルーシィに対して感じている気持ちというのは、原作でまだはっきりと
描かれていない部分だったりもするんですが、今回の劇場版では、そのあたり
に少し突っ込んでもいいというお話を真島先生からもいただいてましたので、
ナツの視線や動きなどを通して、友情の少し先にあるルーシィへの想いを表現
しているつもりです。


Someone's been saying this was from an interview from the FT director. It says that Mashima told him to add all the NaLu for the movie, cuz he has plans for them in the manga... Oooo....

And LadyGT's doujin is gonna be amazing. Speaking of doujins, zippi44 has a NaLu one going on, too.
