I am worrying about the anime too.This arc is longer than Tenrou when they start animating it last year, but I hope they won't catch up fast.

I don't want to see again a filler arc because of that.
They could make the fights longer in the GMG, but I doubt that they will do it.

Saddly I think this will be the case.When anime caught up with the manga material they need to make a filler season or stop the anime and start again when the manga is far ahead(but this is happening so rarely)
They can only do that and add some more scenes.They don't have a choice anyway or they will be on par with the manga Unsure

I wonder when this arc will end.Is the longest so far, right?

@Aria:

I know but I don't like filler arcs, although FT's fillers are way better than the most of other Animes. I think the second case happened with Gintama.
They could add some more scenes also in the last arc but they didn't, so I doubt they will do it this time. But I don't understand why. They could easily add some more scenes in the fights and make them longer.
The Tenrou Island arc was the longest with 54 chapters. I don't know how long the new one is but it will be surely longer.

The good thing with our own forum is that it doesn't matter if you are off-topic Winking

Btw, thank you as well Mashima Laughing

He might not be the best story teller and be a big troll sometimes, but he is one of the most diligent(right word?) mangakas. Others take often breaks and so, and Mashima does so much more for his readers.
