Smileys/icons/emoticons suggestions.

I deleted some annoying smileys and added some, such as this ones:

All you have to do to use them, if you don't know the code is go to the emoticon box and click "View more Emoticons" Then click, Smilies 2.


This page is open for suggestions of what you would like me or Laura to add or remove.

EDIT: I will take care of the smileys/emoticons/icons now

Some changes:
First of all I merged the Smileys/Emoticons thread with this one. We don't need two threads with the same purpose

And you can post new smiley/icon suggestions here.

As for the rules...
- I have to make the icons a lot smaller so please use ones which you can use with a small size.
- No fanarts.
- No Mashima arts from his tumblr, but things from manga and anime are allowed.
- And suggest icons which are useful, where I know that they are going to be used a lot.
- No shippy icons.

After I already received some complaints I decided to open this thread and a vote so you can voice your opinion here. The poll will run for the next 7 days.


The reason why I personally changed the smileys is because:
- The former ones were not really what you would call professional or good-looking
- The new ones fit to our new layout
- They also feature emotions we use a lot like or

Please write down why you like or don't like the new smileys after voting so I can reason with your opinion.

As you all know I have horrible eyesight and this smileys are a pain.
They blend with the background and I have to squint to make out whatever it is they are.

Someone explain to me why it has to look professional too, please. No problem with it, just wondering.

As for the emoticons we use a lot...I do, I use them a lot and they used to have no equivalent on the other one, and some were removed, I don't like it when I use something a lot, and suddenly have to squint to make out this smiley....or squinting when someone else does it to me....Also, I don;t like going out of my way to have to avoid some I used to use a lot. Like some very annoying ones.

I know I am probably the only one that doesn't like them, but it is a big problem for me. If you don't want to remove all of them its OK, but please remove some of them or change the code a bit. like adding : before the start for the most used ones.

I also have a bit of trouble deciphering what some of them are supposed to stand for...they don't have much facial expression...

Edit: Forgot to say, I don't care if it is professional or not, you better return that afro. Seriously....how could you ?

If the smileys are staying then fine, I still don't like them, but there was no reason to get rid of the afro, people loved the afro... and some others, that will be missed.

Like the bunny, or the animals...I really think you shoyld have asked before removing them because you could have left some. How would you feel if I randomly took your zoidberg away?

Personally I didn't expect it that changing smileys would attract such a ruckus. But yeah, I should have expected it.

Lol. Yes, I would dislike it when people would randomly remove the Zoidberg but I dislike drama more. So I guess in the end I wouldn't bother too much about it.
